Why is there a 10% royalty? That seems really excessive
Royalties will continue to pay for giveaways, our staff, the creation of new tools for our members, and the monthly service fees we owe to our third-party analytics resources.
Additionally, we will be investing these payments in ongoing devs to continue building out the alerts automation.
Why do I have to pay for this?
We want to keep the chat clean and believe that charging a fee acts as a filter to minimize the bots and trolls. Also, we have purchased multiple upper tier memberships for all tools used to source insights and alerts shared with the community. They're not cheap. Finally, a portion (15%) of both minting revenues and recurring royalties will fund a community wallet that will be used to purchase NFTs for our monthly giveaways.
Can you explain how the 15% sales/royalty works? How do I qualify?
On the last day of every month, I will take a snapshot all of wallets holding an Origins NFT Access Pass. Regardless of whether you joined on the 1st or the 29th, you will qualify for the drawing. 15% of all sales revenue from new passes and 15% of any royalty payments will be combined and earmarked for monthly giveaways. I will poll our community with a few different options of NFTs and will spend the entire pool of funds to acquire as many floors for the winning project as possible. I will then use a random number generator to select winners.
What happens if I decide to leave before the end of 2022?
Origins Access Passes can be re-listed on OpenSea. We have purposely capped the supply of passes at 1,000 to create a sense of scarcity and subsequent demand for your passes. Once we're at scale, we anticipate your resale value will exceed your initial mint price, though no guarantees.
What happens when my pass is sold?
Your access to the Origins NFT Community will be revoked. I bought an Origins NFT Access Pass, now what?
How do I verify my pass in the Discord server?
- 1.Click "Let's go" in the #verify-origins-pass channel.
- 2.Collab.Land will send you a DM asking to connect your wallet.
- 3.Click the link and connect with the wallet that your key is in.
- 4.If successful, Verify Bot will say “Updating Roles”, then “Assigned a new role”
If verifying on mobile, follow these steps:
- 1.Click "Let's go" in the #verify-origins-pass channel.
- 2.You'll get a DM from Collab Land. Click the Link.
- 3.Copy the URL from the new tab that opens up and paste it into the browser in your Metamask App (or whatever other wallet you use)
- 4.Connect and sign the message
